In the St Malo quarter of Lorette two Luftschutz bunkers lie in the middle of the area.
One is located at the Rue Armand Dagnet, a complete new residential building has been built on top of the bunker. The second one lies at the Av. De Lorette and has a house built on top of it.

St. Malo, Point de Rochebonne.

At the seaside of St. Malo, you have a beautiful boulevard with new and old houses looking over the sea.
An old French defence point, called Point de Rochebonne, is standing now a days between all those houses. The Germans built a bunker that is still there, but is hardly visible and you have to know its there, otherwise you won't recognise it.
The only way to see something of this bunker is when you walk with low tide over the beach towards the Point.

Between the main road D301 and the Rue de la Mare Litre a cemetery is located. You can enter the cemetery and when you walk around with respect for the location, you are free to look at the four bunkers on the cemetery.
One of the former 669 bunkers was at the time I visited the location used as crematorium to burn the deceased. In the mean time I got the impression they are building a new crematorium.

St. Malo, La Haize.

Along the Av. Colette in the suburb La Haize, next to a church with a special red tower roof, lies an 669 bunker in a small park, almost fully covered.

In the east, outside of St. Malo in the suburb called Le Val, a 669 gun bunker as part of the Landfront protection is integrated in a brick wall. You find this nice location at the rue Le Pignon Moussu.
